This qualification is suitable for those working in a commercial kitchen wanting to achieve a trade qualification.
The course covers industry focussed content such as implementing food safety practices, customer service, workplace communication, menu planning and costing, prepare food for dietary requirements.
This course takes 24 months full time, usually delivered over 3 years to new apprentices. Duration is less for experienced cooks with RPL.
This course is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding where eligible.
